About me

I am a passionate photographer with over 10 years of hands-on Photography experience and my ultimate goal is to use my talents to benefit others by contributing to the development of camera and imaging technologies that are both technically excellent and meaningful to users. My qualities serve as a bridge between the creative and technical world.

I am particularly drawn to work involving objective and subjective image evaluation (image quality), laboratory and field testing, camera engineering, and cross-functional collaboration across imaging, hardware, and software teams.

Born and raised in the poorest inner-city community in San Diego, CA surrounded by 52 documented gangs, I have learned first-hand what the gift of opportunity can bring -- and plan to continue inspiring other young people throughout my journey. I am making an impact in my community, as well as others, so our world is a better place. I remain committed to giving back through mentorship, education, and community involvement.

Much of what fulfills me most can’t be captured in a résumé or a paragraph. The videos below that I am featured in offer a glimpse into the spaces, people, and work that continue to ground my journey across photography, engineering, and community.
